Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- One year of related food service experience
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Completion of Safe Driving training
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as necessary
Job Qualifications

- Valid Texas driver's license
- Completion of Safe Driving training
- Banquet experience preferred
- Working knowledge of CaterTrax preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and team motivation abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Job Duties
- Manage, oversee, and execute official UTMB catered events including supervision of personnel and temporary staff
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food pick-up and delivery to multiple campus locations
- Order and deliver floor stocks and supplies for Special Use Facilities and planned events
- Ensure all items are delivered as requested and solve problems related to kitchen and staffing
- Maintain proper food temperatures according to department policy and report issues with equipment
- Demonstrate correct utensil usage and portion control
- Ensure attractive garnishing and food display
- Practice and teach principles of universal precautions, patient rights, fire safety, disaster preparedness, hazard communication, process improvements, and HACCP
- Supervise temporary staff during set-up, service, and clean-up at multiple events
- Coordinate facility oversight with Police, Maintenance, and facility management
