Job Duties

  • Provide services to each resident according to the resident service plan
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility
  • Observe and report changes in resident health, safety, and well-being
  • Respond promptly to call signals and emergencies, assisting with immediate needs or contacting emergency support
  • Support resident mobility with transfers, positioning, walking, and use of mobility aids
  • Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist with dining experience
  • Provide customer service to residents during meals to ensure high satisfaction
  • Set and reset tables for meals
  • Clear and bus tables as needed
  • Assist with cleaning dining area after meals
  • Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas per schedule
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and floors
  • Launder residents' clothing, linens, and towels, folding and returning them
  • Follow chemical safety protocols and infection control procedures
  • Report on-the-job injuries to supervisors promptly
  • Provide first-aid assistance and arrange medical attention as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
  • Attend staff meetings and in-services
  • Perform other duties as assigned
