Job Duties
- Provide services to each resident according to the resident service plan
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in resident health, safety, and well-being
- Respond promptly to call signals and emergencies, assisting with immediate needs or contacting emergency support
- Support resident mobility with transfers, positioning, walking, and use of mobility aids
- Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist with dining experience
- Provide customer service to residents during meals to ensure high satisfaction
- Set and reset tables for meals
- Clear and bus tables as needed
- Assist with cleaning dining area after meals
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas per schedule
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and floors
- Launder residents' clothing, linens, and towels, folding and returning them
- Follow chemical safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Report on-the-job injuries to supervisors promptly
- Provide first-aid assistance and arrange medical attention as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
- Attend staff meetings and in-services
- Perform other duties as assigned
