Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience in hospitality or hotel environment
  • Knowledge of front desk operations is a plus
  • Reservation software training
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Vacation ownership experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and maintain lobby flow to reduce wait times
  • Complete check-out procedures, compute bills, collect payments, and make changes as required following standard operating procedures
  • Answer telephones/PBX and direct calls using proper etiquette
  • Receive guest requests and complaints and ensure appropriate actions are taken
  • Communicate with other departments via telephone and two-way radio to resolve guest requests and complaints
  • Deliver general concierge services by promptly addressing guest questions, concerns, and requests
  • Provide guests with information on local hotspots and activities
  • Register guests and issue room keys in accordance with SOP
  • Prepare paperwork and arrival information daily for upcoming guests, including welcome gifts for check-in
