Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of clerical or administrative assistant experience preferred
  • two years' experience in a health care setting preferred
  • ability to effectively use general computer applications including data entry, word processing, and email
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • EKG certification preferred for positions including telemetry functions

Job Duties

  • perform receptionist duties
  • assist with all clerical duties on the patient unit
  • integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
  • maintain accuracy and confidentiality in managing patient records
  • support communication and coordination among medical and administrative staff
  • manage office supplies and patient unit documentation
  • handle sensitive information with professionalism
