Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of clerical or administrative assistant experience preferred
- two years of experience in healthcare setting preferred
- ability to use general computer applications
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- understanding of patient confidentiality
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Job Qualifications
- One year of clerical or administrative assistant experience preferred
- two years' experience in healthcare setting preferred
- EKG certification preferred for positions including telemetry functions
- demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management
- effective organizational and time management skills
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- high level interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain quality and safety standards
- ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality
- ability to work closely and professionally with others

Job Duties
- Performs the duties of a receptionist
- assists with all clerical duties on the patient unit
- integrates the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
- manages patient check-in and communication
- coordinates with healthcare providers and staff
- maintains confidentiality of patient records
- supports unit operations through effective time management
