Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • at least one year clerical experience in healthcare settings
  • knowledge of medical terminology
  • familiarity with insurance requirements and authorization processes
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • excellent customer service abilities
  • adaptability to changes and new techniques

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience
  • at least one year of clerical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
  • basic understanding of insurance requirements
  • knowledge and experience with medical terminology

  • ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and technologies

Job Duties

  • schedule and pre-register patients for upcoming services
  • review physician orders to ensure proper therapy scheduling
  • provide clear and accurate appointment information to patients
  • verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
  • enter and maintain accurate patient and scheduling data using computer technology
  • ensure therapist and physician schedules are efficiently and compactly arranged
  • communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff to support a smooth operational flow
