Job Requirements
- high school diploma or G.E.D.
- at least one year clerical experience in healthcare settings
- knowledge of medical terminology
- familiarity with insurance requirements and authorization processes
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- excellent customer service abilities
- adaptability to changes and new techniques
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience
- at least one year of clerical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- basic understanding of insurance requirements
- knowledge and experience with medical terminology
- basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

- ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
Job Duties
- schedule and pre-register patients for upcoming services
- review physician orders to ensure proper therapy scheduling
- provide clear and accurate appointment information to patients
- verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- enter and maintain accurate patient and scheduling data using computer technology
- ensure therapist and physician schedules are efficiently and compactly arranged
- communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff to support a smooth operational flow
