Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of relevant restaurant management experience
- Ability to lead and manage multiple employees
- Knowledge of labor laws and food safety standards
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in restaurant management
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and develop a team
- Strong understanding of labor cost management and scheduling
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and operational procedures
- Experience in cash management and point of sale systems
- Ability to handle customer complaints professionally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of professionalism and teamwork
- Commitment to maintaining company standards and policies
Job Duties
- General management of the staff including hiring, training, coaching, directing performance, addressing under-performance, status changes, promotions, rate changes and terminations
- Management of maintaining staff levels through recruiting, interviewing, completing pre-employment screening and hiring new crew members
- Ensure store labor costs are managed through staff scheduling, adjustment of hours based upon revenue, crew meal periods and rest break management
- Conduct crew training including new hires, food preparation certifications, regular observations, and safety meetings
- Complete operational duties including closing paperwork, food inventory, food orders, disposal of expired food, revenue and invoice reconciliation, supply inventory, and monthly audits
- Conduct cash management duties including register audits, cash handling, safe audits, and bank deposit preparation
- Manage the store Point of Sale System including employee management, wage adjustments, inventory cost adjustments, and report analysis
- Ensure all team members complete training programs and maintain documentation
- Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage, supply and labor costs, increasing sales through customer satisfaction and problem resolution
- Manage employee personnel files, labor law compliance, and ensure safety and food certifications are current
- Supervise maintenance of equipment to OSHA and company standards
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer experience meets company standards
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety regulations and legal requirements
- Perform other duties related to restaurant management as assigned
