Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in restaurant management or related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of labor laws and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in POS systems and cash management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • General management of the staff including hiring, training, coaching, directing performance, addressing under-performance, status changes, promotions, rate changes and terminations
  • Customarily and regularly direct the work of two or more other employees
  • Manage staff levels through recruiting, interviewing, pre-employment screening and hiring
  • Ensure store labor costs are managed through scheduling, adjustment of hours, meal periods and timeclock management
  • Conduct crew training and quarterly safety meetings
  • Complete operational duties such as closing paperwork, food inventory, orders, disposal of expired food, revenue and invoice reconciliation, supply inventory and audits
  • Conduct cash management including register audits, safe audits, bank deposit preparation and security documentation
  • Manage the POS system including employee access, wage adjustments and inventory cost controls
  • Ensure all crew complete training programs and maintain documentation
  • Optimize profits by controlling costs and increasing sales through guest satisfaction
  • Manage employee records, labor law compliance, safety and food certifications
  • Supervise maintenance of equipment according to OSHA and company standards
  • Resolve customer incidents and complaints ensuring customer experience meets standards
  • Maintain overall restaurant standards per Visitation Checklist
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in all management aspects
  • Respect customers, management and employees
  • Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety regulations
  • Perform other related duties assigned by management
