Job Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management or similar supervisory role

Job Duties
- General management of the staff including hiring, training, coaching, directing performance, addressing under-performance, status changes, promotions, rate changes and terminations
- Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more other employees
- Management of maintaining staff levels through recruiting, interviewing, completing pre-employment screening process and hiring new crew members
- Ensure store labor costs are managed through unit staff scheduling, adjustment of hours based upon revenue, crew meal periods and rest break management
- Conduct crew training including new hires, food preparation certifications, regular observations and checklists
- Complete operational duties including daily and monthly closing paperwork, food inventory, food orders, disposal of expired food, daily revenue reconciliation, weekly invoice reconciliation, daily supply inventory, supply orders, and inventory audits
- Conduct cash management duties including register audits, cash management, security orders, safe audits, bank deposit preparation
- Manage the store Point of Sale System including employee accounts, wage adjustments, key activation and inventory cost adjustments
- Ensure all crew members complete Tommy's Training Programs based on position
- Lead safety and crew meetings and maintain documentation
- Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage, supply and labor costs
- Manage employee personnel files and ensure compliance with labor laws and safety certifications
- Ensure staff complies with security and surveillance practices
- Supervise maintenance and upkeep of equipment to meet OSHA, state, federal and company standards
- Resolve customer incidents and complaints
- Responsible for Secret Shopper results and overall restaurant standards per Visitation Checklist
- Understand and perform duties of crew members, leads, assistant managers
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in restaurant operations
- Complete Unit Manager training and pass all tests
- Maintain professionalism and positive interaction with customers, management and employees
- Demonstrate high quality of work, attendance and appearance
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations
- Comply with all local, state and federal laws
- Perform other duties assigned by management relevant to the position
