Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management or supervisory role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment screening
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Ability to use Point of Sale and scheduling software

Job Duties

  • Manage staff including hiring, training, coaching, directing performance, addressing under-performance, promotions, rate changes and terminations
  • Maintain adequate staff levels through recruiting, interviewing, pre-employment screening, and hiring
  • Manage labor costs via scheduling, adjustment of hours based on revenue, crew meal periods and breaks, timeclock management
  • Conduct crew training, certifications and regular observations
  • Complete operational duties including closing paperwork, inventory and food orders, disposal of expired food, revenue and invoice reconciliation, supply inventory and audits
  • Conduct cash management duties such as register audits, safe audits, bank deposit preparation
  • Manage store Point of Sale System including employee and wage adjustments, inventory cost adjustments, and report analysis
  • Ensure completion of staff training programs and lead safety and crew meetings
  • Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage, supply, and labor costs, increasing sales through guest satisfaction
  • Manage personnel files, labor law compliance, safety and food certifications
  • Supervise maintenance of equipment to OSHA, state, federal and company standards
  • Resolve customer incidents and complaints, responsible for customer experience standards
  • Ensure overall restaurant standards per visitation checklist
  • Demonstrate professionalism in communication, attitude, teamwork, attendance, and appearance
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations
  • Perform other duties assigned by manager related to position
