Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- medical office assistant certificate or prior unit clerk experience preferred
- de-escalation training obtained CPI within six months of employment in required specialty
- bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- good computer skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- BLS preferred
- ability to work in high-stress environment
- ability to multi-task

Job Duties
- manage clerical and receptionist duties on the nursing unit
- coordinate communication between nursing staff and other hospital departments
- maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- assist in coordinating patient admissions and discharges
- respond promptly to inquiries and direct visitors appropriately
- support nursing staff during shifts to ensure efficient unit operations
- uphold hospital policies and procedures regarding patient confidentiality and safety
