Job Requirements
- working-level knowledge of English including reading writing and speaking
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior receptionist skills preferred
- ability to obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days
- ability to communicate effectively with diverse people
- ability to maintain priorities and work under pressure
- tactful and courteous demeanor

Job Duties
- perform clerical duties including managing records and communications
- act as unit receptionist handling incoming calls and visitors
- coordinate unit and patient activities with other departments
- maintain an orderly and efficient nursing station

- maintain unit supplies and interdepartmental communication
- sit with patients on suicide or behavioral watch when necessary
