- Completion of approved Unit Clerk course
- current CNA certification
- current AHA BLS certification within 30 days of employment
- experience in healthcare setting preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work effectively with the public
- knowledge of medical records and documentation
- computer proficiency

Job Duties
- Serve as unit receptionist
- transcribe physician orders
- order necessary tests
- order and monitor supply inventory
- coordinate unit phone communication
- transport patients
- stock shelves and clean work areas
- maintain medical records according to standard
- report observations regarding patient status to nurses
- provide care for adult patients over 13 years of age
