Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating motorized vehicles
  • Computer literacy and effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to work any assigned shift, including weekends
  • Ability to respond to emergencies after hours and on weekends when assigned on-call responsibilities
  • Physical ability to perform numerous physical activities involving hands, arms, legs, and whole body
  • Ability to lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Use of a personal smartphone with updated software and password protection compliant with company security
  • Must be reachable by phone after hours
  • Flexibility to work changing shifts according to business needs

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating motorized vehicles
  • Computer literacy and effective communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Ability to work any assigned shift including weekends
  • Ability to respond to emergencies after normal business hours when on call
  • Physical ability to perform prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, sweeping, stooping, kneeling, shoveling, crouching, lifting, and handling materials
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Smartphone literacy with updated software and compliance with security systems

Job Duties

  • Maintaining physical condition of community grounds, exterior, and common areas
  • Assisting in preparing market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning, and general repairs
  • Responding to resident service requests promptly
  • Performing various maintenance functions, such as exterior light bulb changes and equipment maintenance
  • Assisting other service staff with projects, including apartment cleaning and drywalling
  • Providing concierge coverage on scheduled Sundays
  • Reporting maintenance concerns and delivering resident communication as needed
