Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
- Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Lift, carry, push, pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
- Position may require background and drug screening, in accordance with state and local requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use reservation management software like OpenTable
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Commitment to excellent guest service
Job Duties
- Use the OpenTable web-app to plan, forecast, and track guest reservations for current and upcoming shifts
- Provide guests with table accommodations, offer menu recommendations, and ensure guests special needs are met and communicated
- Answer phones and respond to guests communications, address guest issues with management, and report problem reservations or peak times
- Maintain guest menus, candles, and stock special needs items
- Provide an excellent and consistent level of service to customers
- Assist service staff whenever necessary
- Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
