Job Requirements
- available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
- reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- lift, carry, push, pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
- position may require background and drug screening, in accordance with state and local requirements
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to use reservation management software such as OpenTable
- strong organizational skills
- customer-focused mindset
- ability to work well within a team
- flexibility to work various shifts including holidays and weekends
Job Duties
- using the OpenTable web-app
- plan, forecast, and track guest reservations for current and upcoming shifts
- provide guests with table accommodations, offer menu recommendations, and ensure that any guests special needs are met and communicated
- answer phones and respond to guests communications
- address guest issues with management and report problem reservations or peak times
- maintain guest menus, candles, and stock special needs items
- provide an excellent and consistent level of service to customers
- assist service staff whenever necessary
- welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
- interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
- contribute to team goals
- always follow company policies and safety procedures
