Job Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar baking role
- ability to operate baking equipment safely
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
- effective communication skills
- ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- willingness to comply with union regulations and maintain a positive team environment

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in a similar baking role
- proficiency in baking techniques and recipe execution
- ability to follow production specifications and maintain quality standards
- strong organizational skills to manage production records and inventory
- effective communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork
- knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- inform supervisor when supplies are low
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- handle food items with safety regulations in mind during preparation and service
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
- relay relevant concerns to supervisors
- keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
- check food presentation, serving and display per standards
- follow principles of sanitation and safety, ensuring corporate and OSHA standards are met
- complete shift work timely and thoroughly according to department standards
- perform other duties as assigned
