Job Requirements

  • Some high school education
  • Minimum one year of operations experience
  • Food Handler certification obtained at applicant's own expense
  • Ability to stand for up to four hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in hot, noisy, and fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage conflict

Job Duties

  • Prepare cheesecakes, cookies and tarts to meet Uncle Tetsu standard for flavor, color, and aroma
  • Guide Baker Assistant and assist with their training
  • Perform all Baker Assistant duties
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
  • Manage timely preparation of baked goods to meet business needs
