Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 6 months of experience in cocktail or lounge service
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- completion of restaurant training program
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
- knowledge of hotel services and local attractions
Job Qualifications
- 6+ months of prior experience as a cocktail server
- knowledge of liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections
- familiarity with designated glassware and garnishes
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- completion of a restaurant training program
Job Duties
- Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas
- knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor
- knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink
- communicate order into system through bartender
- ensure transmission is verified
- knowledge of hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries
- resolve guest complaints within scope of authority
- otherwise refers the matter to management
- notify supervisor and/or security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
- successful completion of restaurant training program and testing is required
- perform other job-related duties as requested
