Job Description
The UH-1N Academic/Simulator Instructor Pilot position is a specialized role dedicated to providing comprehensive aircrew academic, simulator, and flight training. This role is essential for preparing both officer and enlisted personnel for combat search and rescue missions using the UH-1N helicopter. The training includes using night vision goggles for low-level flight, helicopter aerial refueling operations, alternate insertion and extraction methods, emergency procedures, systems instruction, instrument flight, and tactical operations. Job Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited college
- Current as a pilot in the UH-1N within the previous two years or within the previous 8 years if the candidate has performed 8 years of military operational flying duty at the time of hire with at least two years and 200 hours experience as an in-flight instructor in the UH-1N
- Must have a minimum of an active secret clearance and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US citizenship, for access to classified information and communications security (COMSEC) material
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Some overtime may be required

Job Duties
- Provide academic and simulator refresher training to qualified officer and enlisted UH-1N aircrew members
- Assist in the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process in designing, developing of and ensuring all UH-1N courseware is correctly applied
- Perform other duties as directed by the management team
