Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited college
  • Current as a pilot in the UH-1N within the previous two years or within the previous 8 years if the candidate has performed 8 years of military operational flying duty at the time of hire with at least two years and 200 hours experience as an in-flight instructor in the UH-1N
  • Must have a minimum of an active SECRET clearance and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US citizenship, for access to classified information and Communications Security (COMSEC) material
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • some overtime may be required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college
  • Current as a pilot in the UH-1N within the previous two years or within the previous eight years with at least two years and 200 hours experience as an in-flight instructor in the UH-1N
  • Ability to maintain an active SECRET clearance
  • Experience with instructional systems design preferred
  • Strong communication and instructional skills

Job Duties

  • Provide academic and simulator refresher training to qualified officer and enlisted UH-1N aircrew members
  • Assist in the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process in designing, developing of and ensuring all UH-1N courseware is correctly applied
  • Perform other duties as directed by the management team
