Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • college degree or equivalent experience required
  • Serve Safe, TIPS, or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain
  • minimum of 3 years progressive food and beverage experience
  • at least one year supervisory or management experience
  • ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • willingness to work extended hours including physically demanding tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • college degree or equivalent experience
  • Serve Safe, TIPS, or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain
  • minimum of 3 years progressive food and beverage experience with at least one year in supervisory or management role
  • strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • basic culinary, restaurant, banquet, and beverage service knowledge preferred
  • experience in a hotel setting with similar brand and size preferred

Job Duties

  • Effective operation of food and beverage outlets
  • guest service including responding to guest needs and resolving complaints
  • people management and development including hiring, coaching, performance evaluation, and training
  • supporting financial goals by driving revenue, managing expenses, and scheduling labor effectively
  • conducting safety inspections and maintaining compliance with health, brand, and legal standards
  • self and workload management with effective communication and collaboration
  • attending departmental meetings and adhering to company procedures
