Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- college degree or equivalent experience required
- Serve Safe, TIPS, or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain
- minimum of 3 years progressive food and beverage experience
- at least one year supervisory or management experience
- ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels
- strong problem-solving skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally with assistance
- willingness to work extended hours including physically demanding tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- college degree or equivalent experience
- Serve Safe, TIPS, or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain
- minimum of 3 years progressive food and beverage experience with at least one year in supervisory or management role
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- basic culinary, restaurant, banquet, and beverage service knowledge preferred
- experience in a hotel setting with similar brand and size preferred
Job Duties
- Effective operation of food and beverage outlets
- guest service including responding to guest needs and resolving complaints
- people management and development including hiring, coaching, performance evaluation, and training
- supporting financial goals by driving revenue, managing expenses, and scheduling labor effectively
- conducting safety inspections and maintaining compliance with health, brand, and legal standards
- self and workload management with effective communication and collaboration
- attending departmental meetings and adhering to company procedures
