Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years housekeeping experience within an upscale hotel preferred
  • Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime
  • Ability to carry and use a radio and earpiece discreetly
  • Compliance with gaming license requirements if applicable
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive motions
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced high-demand environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience within an upscale hotel preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of housekeeping service techniques and productivity expectations
  • Ability to identify and prioritize issues
  • Personable and professional with discretion in communication

Job Duties

  • Clean all guestrooms including making beds and providing clean terry and robes
  • Clean, dust, sanitize, collect garbage and replenish collaterals, supplies, amenities, coffee pods and condiments
  • Provide turndown service in the evenings and prepare guestroom ambiance for guests to relax and sleep
  • Conduct inspections of guestrooms to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards
  • Follow OSHA rules for chemical usage and ensure proper labeling of hazardous supplies
  • Maintain and use equipment according to health and safety guidelines
  • Motivate and support team members through coaching and knowledge sharing
  • Report maintenance issues and guest requests to supervisors
  • Perform other duties to support department operations
