Job Requirements
- Availability to work full-time
- Must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to follow hotel policies and procedures
- Must be 18 years or older
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or turndown experience in a luxury hotel setting is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, holidays and weekdays
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide turndown service to include, but not limited to, partially removing and storing bedcover, fulfilling specified guest preferences (i.e. filling ice bucket, etc.), and replenishing amenities, linens and supplies
- Clean and stock guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, cleaning bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floor surfaces
- Change bed linens
- Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves
- Replenish amenities, linens and supplies in guest room
- Vacuum and empty trash
- Conduct visual room inspection upon completion
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with the hotel's green guidelines
- Perform Room Attendant and other Housekeeping services, as requested
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
