Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or turndown service preferred
  • Ability to maintain physical requirements including move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods or entire work shifts
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of arms and hands
  • Must be able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Able to maintain a 4-diamond level of service
  • Able to work with management on special projects
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to communicate effectively including answering basic questions about services and amenities and give directions to guests
  • Ability to push and pull housekeeping supply cart
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide turndown services for assigned number of guest rooms
  • Respond to all guest requests appropriately
  • Greet guests warmly with a smile and call them by name whenever possible
  • Provide additional amenities and housekeeping services for VIP guests
  • Perform functions of a Room Attendant and Housekeeping Houseperson as needed
  • Offer assistance and information to guests
  • Remove room service trays from guest rooms
  • Assist with public areas when needed
  • Restock caddies, linen, and refill chemical bottles for Guest Room Attendants
  • Keep all housekeeping and linen areas clean and tidy
