Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or turndown service preferred
- Ability to maintain physical requirements including move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods or entire work shifts
- Ability to perform repetitive motions of arms and hands
- Must be able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Able to maintain a 4-diamond level of service
- Able to work with management on special projects
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to communicate effectively including answering basic questions about services and amenities and give directions to guests
- Ability to push and pull housekeeping supply cart
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide turndown services for assigned number of guest rooms
- Respond to all guest requests appropriately
- Greet guests warmly with a smile and call them by name whenever possible
- Provide additional amenities and housekeeping services for VIP guests
- Perform functions of a Room Attendant and Housekeeping Houseperson as needed
- Offer assistance and information to guests
- Remove room service trays from guest rooms
- Assist with public areas when needed
- Restock caddies, linen, and refill chemical bottles for Guest Room Attendants
- Keep all housekeeping and linen areas clean and tidy
