Job Requirements
- regular and consistent attendance
- ability to handle emergency situations
- compliance with company dress code
- ability to perform cashier duties
- knowledge of MPAA rating system
- awareness of local state and federal food safety laws
- current alcohol certification and training if applicable
- ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand walk sit use hands and arms talk and hear during work
- legal age to sell or serve alcohol if applicable
- completion of required training materials including sexual harassment and discrimination
Job Qualifications
- completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion
- completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training if alcohol sales are part of assigned duties
- good public speaking skills
- effective listening and clear communication
- ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
- problem identification and resolution skills
- excellent communication with customers co-workers and management
- ability to set priorities and manage time efficiently
Job Duties
- operating POS system including proper handling and accuracy of cash drawer credit cards travelers' checks gift cards and redeemed discount tickets passes and coupons
- upselling and suggestive selling of premium viewing experiences such as 3D RPX and IMAX
- promoting the Regal Crown Club program
- ensuring tickets are sold in compliance with MPAA rating system and company policy
- responding to guest inquiries and phone calls in line with guest service philosophy
- general cleaning duties
- handling emergency situations when required
