Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in food preparation, preferably in a childcare or school setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals in a timely and efficient manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for working with children
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals and snacks according to established menus and recipes, ensuring they are healthy, appealing, and developmentally appropriate for preschool children
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory of food supplies, order groceries, and ensure adequate stock levels
- Work collaboratively with preschool staff to ensure meals are served at appropriate times and temperatures
- Collaborate with parents to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies
- Assist with meal preparation and cleanup tasks, including dishwashing and sanitizing
- Maintain accurate records of food preparation and inventory
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Follow established procedures for food handling, storage, and preparation
