Job Requirements
- high school degree or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years of age
- possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license
- meet any state or local licensure and/or other requirements related to the position
- ability to prioritize tasks and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures and humidity
- ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs occasionally
- ability to operate technology systems with minimal direction after training
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to be trained and act on de-escalation tactics
- ability to safely conduct internal and external patrols frequently throughout shift
- ability to respond quickly and safely to security incidents in all property locations
Job Qualifications
- high school degree or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to multi-task and respond quickly during crisis situations
- possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license
- capable of working in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
- ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs occasionally
- ability to operate technology systems after training
- reliable and punctual attendance
- prior experience in security or related fields preferred
- ability to be trained in de-escalation tactics
- ability to conduct internal and external patrols
- ability to respond promptly and safely to security incidents
Job Duties
- conduct yard and perimeter patrols using Target-owned vehicles
- follow emergency procedures and protocols, including incident notification to building leadership
- manage truck gate operations and visitor management
- mitigate shortage risks by preventing, investigating, and resolving theft and fraud
- ensure safety and security of team members, visitors, and brand
- respond quickly and calmly during crisis situations
- operate technology systems with minimal direction after training
