Job Requirements
- Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or general education development (GED)
- Pass a computerized assessment including grammar and ability to interpret x-rays
- Pass a medical evaluation including vision hearing and joint mobility exam
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Pass a TSA background and financial records check
- Ability to work any day Monday to Sunday and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM
- Minimum clearance to start public trust

Job Duties
- Perform security screening of persons including hand-wand searches pat-down searches and monitoring walk-through metal detector screening equipment
- Perform security screening of property including operation of x-ray machines to identify dangerous objects in baggage cargo and on passengers
- Prevent dangerous objects from being transported onto aircraft
- Control entry and exit points
- Continuously improve security screening processes and personal performance through training and development
