Job Description

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Perform required job duties related to accepting donations, presorting and pricing merchandise
  • Welcome donors promptly and make them feel appreciated
  • Handle donation process respectfully including greeting, assisting unload, sharing UGM story and issuing receipts
  • Recognize quality merchandise and consult Processing Manager for pricing
  • Communicate daily with Processing Manager, employees and donors
  • Serve cooperatively with team for a productive work environment
  • Adhere to daily and weekly production goals
  • Maintain clean and organized reception, presort and processing areas
  • Keep personal processing station clean and orderly
  • Comply with employee policies and procedures
  • Use pricing guides daily
  • Input processing numbers correctly into Thrift Trac
  • Walk sales floor weekly with Processing Manager
  • Train new employees or volunteers when needed
  • Follow safety guidelines
  • Attend and participate in daily huddles
