Job Requirements

  • Must possess or obtain a Class A CDL
  • motor vehicle record must adhere to TLG MVR guidelines
  • must be able to complete required DOT and company related paperwork
  • must maintain a clean and professional personal appearance
  • must operate equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
  • must be friendly and courteous to all customers
  • must be safety-conscious due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess a high school diploma
  • must possess or obtain a Class A CDL
  • motor vehicle record must adhere to TLG MVR guidelines
  • two years of experience in a similar position is preferred
  • a mechanical aptitude is recommended

Job Duties

  • Have a valid class A CDL
  • transport trucks as needed to fuel or deliver to customers
  • test drive trucks for service department
  • maintain a clean and professional personal appearance
  • be friendly and courteous to all customers
  • operate equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
  • complete required DOT and company related paperwork
  • ensure all trucks start and move on a weekly basis
  • ensure that trucks have sufficient fuel for test drives
  • install TLG mud flaps on all trucks and perform minor repairs and other installations
  • ensure proper operation of all lights and air systems
  • notify manager immediately of defects on trucks
