Job Requirements
- Must provide own tractor equipment
- Hold a valid CDL A license
- Demonstrate experience with flatbed or reefer freight
- Ability to operate independently without forced dispatch
- Maintain safety and compliance standards
- Be legally authorized to work as an owner-operator
- Meet physical and operational requirements for long-haul trucking
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license
- Experience operating flatbed or refrigerated freight
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and fuel compliance
- Ability to manage independent routes and schedules
- Proven record of reliable and efficient truck operation
- Familiarity with event recorder systems advantageous
- Good communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Operate and maintain personal tractor equipment
- Choose preferred freight type (flatbed or reefer) and region
- Manage routing and home time independently
- Ensure compliance with safety and fuel regulations
- Achieve performance targets for monthly scorecard bonuses
- Coordinate with dispatchers respecting owner-operator independence
- Report timely for weekly settlements and maintain accurate records
