Job Requirements
- Must have valid Class A CDL
- Must have or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Must have 1 year documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5
- Must have 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Must comply with all federal and state laws, regulations, and company rules
- Must maintain regular, predictable attendance
- Must be proficient in English
- Must complete Penske application, background investigation, and drug screening
- Must work required schedule and location
- Must be able to work safely and remain alert
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and frequently enter and exit truck and cargo area
- Must be physically able to see, hear, lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- Clean 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Compliance with all federal and state laws and company rules
- English language proficiency
- Ability to complete background check, drug screening, and employment application
- Ability to work safely and remain alert
- Ability to use hands and arms for vehicle operation and cargo handling
Job Duties
- Drive late-model Penske trucks designed for comfort and safety
- Deliver palletized medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers
- Make an average of 40-60 stops per week
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Ensure home daily availability
- Follow all federal, state, and company laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance and schedule flexibility
