Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL license
- DOT medical card
- Minimum one year of tractor-trailer experience within the last three years or two years within the last five years
- Clean driving record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in the last three years
- Ability to follow federal and state transportation safety regulations
- Ability to work full-time with regular, predictable attendance
- English language proficiency
- Successfully complete background check and drug screening
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and enter/exit vehicle frequently
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- One year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last three years or two years in the last five years
- Three years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws and regulations
- English language proficiency
- Able to work the required schedule and location
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
Job Duties
- Deliver palletized groceries to local grocery stores
- Drive late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks
- Maintain safety standards during driving and deliveries
- Adhere to a scheduled start time of 8 pm
- Follow federal and state transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients and management
- Participate in safety incentive and driver recognition programs
