Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Ability to obtain or hold non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- Clean DMV/MVR record with at most two moving violations or accidents in 3 years
- Compliance with federal and state safety laws
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- English language proficiency as required by federal regulations
- Pass background check, drug screening, and employment application process
- Ability to maintain alertness and work safely
- Physical ability to operate vehicle and handle loads up to 100lbs
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- At least 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Ability to follow federal and state laws and company guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- English language proficiency
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work safely and responsibly as a safety-sensitive position
Job Duties
- Drive late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks designed for comfort and safety
- Deliver medical supplies to Pennsylvania and upstate New York
- Make an average of 3 to 5 stops per week
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Operate on a variable schedule with two consecutive days off
- Comply with all federal and state regulations and company safety standards
- Complete dispatch assignments between 12 AM to 4 AM
