Job Requirements
- work the required schedule
- work at the specific location required
- complete Penske employment application
- submit to a background investigation including past employment, education, and criminal history
- drug screening required
- physically able to operate a motor vehicle and enter/exit the vehicle and cargo area
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally
- must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2) compliance
- willingness to work in a safety-sensitive role in a constant state of alertness
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A CDL required
- currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- ability to work a regular, predictable, full attendance schedule
- English language proficiency
- ability to accept responsibility for safety of self and others
Job Duties
- deliver products to store stores
- average 1 to 4 stops per route
- maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- operate late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks
- comply with all federal and state regulations
- complete assigned routes within scheduled time
- ensure safety and security of cargo and vehicle
