Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- U.S. residency and appropriate state license
- Current or ability to obtain DOT medical card
- Relevant tractor-trailer experience
- Clean DMV/MVR record
- Compliance with federal and state safety laws
- Regular and predictable attendance
- English proficiency
- Completion of employment application
- Background check and drug screening
- Ability to work safely and responsibly
- Physical ability to operate motor vehicle and perform job duties including lifting up to 100lbs
- Ability to move, stand, walk and sit frequently
- Vision and hearing requirements
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Ability to follow all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work assigned schedules and locations
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work in a safe and alert manner
- Commitment to personal and others' safety
Job Duties
- Deliver products to customers
- Make an average of 15 to 20 stops per week
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Operate late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks designed for driver comfort and equipped with safety cameras
- Adhere to assignment schedules including a 5-day workweek with required weekends and night dispatch hours
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company safety regulations
- Maintain consistent, full attendance and punctuality
