Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class A CDL
- minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
- current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
- clean driving record with two or fewer violations or accidents in past 3 years
- ability to work early morning shifts
- physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
- ability to operate motor vehicle legally
- strong communication skills in English
- background and drug screening clearance
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A CDL
- holders domiciled and licensed in their state of residence
- ability to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with no more than two moving violations or accidents
- compliance with federal, state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- English language proficiency
- ability to maintain full attendance
- background check and drug screening clearance
- ability to accept responsibility for own safety and safety of others
Job Duties
- Drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks
- deliver construction materials to customer locations
- use Moffett forklift to unload trailer
- meet and greet drivers utilizing Chevy hot shot load and flatbed tractor trailer
- maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- complete average 40 stops per week
- adhere to safety and regulatory compliance
