Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class A CDL license
- minimum 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- ability to pass DOT physical and hold valid medical card
- English language proficiency
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- ability to operate motor vehicle safely and comply with all federal and company safety regulations
- ability to lift and move up to 50lbs frequently and up to 100lbs occasionally
- passing a background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- ability to work required schedule and location
- completion of background investigation including past employment, education, and criminal history
- successful completion of drug screening
Job Duties
- Loading and unloading crates of groceries to grocery stores
- use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- operate late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class specs
- comply with all safety regulations and operate trucks equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras
- work weekends and holidays as required
- ensure timely local deliveries while being home daily
- maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch
