Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Domiciled and licensed in the U.S. state of residence
- Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card or ability to obtain
- Minimum 1 year documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- Clean DMV/MVR record with no more than two moving violations or accidents in last 3 years
- Compliance with federal and state laws and agency rules
- Predictable regular attendance
- English proficiency
- Ability to work assigned schedule and location
- Complete Penske employment application
- Pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to operate motor vehicle safely
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally
- Ability to frequently enter and exit vehicle and cargo areas
- Must maintain constant alertness for safety
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- At least 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal, state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Regular, predictable full attendance
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work the required schedule and location
- Pass background investigation including employment, education, and criminal history
- Pass drug screening
- Ability to work safely and in a constant state of alertness
- Associate must be responsible for own safety and safety of others
Job Duties
- Deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers
- Manage 4-12 stops per week efficiently
- Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Operate late-model Penske truck leasing vehicles with best-in-class comfort and safety specs
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Perform all vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Return home daily with consistent Sunday through Thursday, 9 pm to 7 am schedule
