Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL license
- 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- Must hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Clean driving record with limited moving violations or accidents
- Ability to comply with federal and state regulations
- Must be able to work specified schedules and locations
- Must pass background investigation and drug screening
- Must have ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 lbs
- English language proficiency
- Must be domiciled and licensed in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in the state of residence
- Currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- Clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years
- Ability to follow all federal and state laws and company rules
- Regular, predictable attendance
- English language proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to maintain alertness and work safely in a safety-sensitive role
Job Duties
- Drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class comfort and safety features
- Deliver and unload crates of food to grocery stores
- Complete approximately 40 stops per week on local routes
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Adhere to dispatch schedules with shift start times at noon or 8:30 p.m.
- Ensure safety compliance by following all federal and state laws, regulations, and company guidelines
- Participate in and contribute to safety incentive and driver recognition programs
