Job Requirements
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule
- Work at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation including past employment, education, and criminal history
- Drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Physical ability to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100lbs
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safe entry/exit of vehicle and cargo area
- English language proficiency
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations
- English language proficiency required
- Ability to accept responsibility for safety of self and others
Job Duties
- Deliver construction materials to customer locations
- Use Moffett forklift to unload trailer
- Make an average of 10 to 25 stops per week
- Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Be home daily as part of the regular schedule
- Work Monday through Friday with on-call every 3rd Saturday
- Adhere to dispatch schedule and changes communicated one day prior
