Job Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Two years of driving experience
- Two years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Customer service skills
- Organizational skills
- Positive attitude
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Compliance with DOT regulations including physical, drug screening, and background checks
- Willingness to travel as necessary
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and perform physical duties such as lifting up to 100 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Two years of driving experience required
- Two years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required
- Valid Class B CDL required
- CDL Class A license preferred
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Customer service skills
- Organizational skills
- Positive attitude
- English language proficiency
- Ability to maintain a current driver qualification file as required by DOT regulations
Job Duties
- Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination of Penske location or customer locations
- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
- Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required
- Provide assistance to the service department by delivering parts and equipment
- Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
