Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class A CDL
- reside and be licensed in U.S. state of residence
- current or ability to obtain DOT medical card
- minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- clean driving record with 2 or fewer moving violations or accidents in last 3 years
- English language proficiency
- pass background check and drug screening
- ability to work required schedule and location
- meet physical requirements for safe operation of vehicle
- ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs
- ability to frequently enter and exit vehicle safely
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A CDL
- domicile in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- ability to work required schedule and location
- completion of employment application, background check, and drug screening
- ability to work safely and maintain alertness
Job Duties
- travel regionally to various locations as needed
- perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- adapt to varying dispatch times depending on work assignment
- be away from home 2 to 3 weeks per assignment
- operate late model, Penske maintained trucks equipped with in-cab cameras
