Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of commercial driving experience
- Must be 18+ years old (21+ for interstate/hazmat)
- Pass background checks and drug tests
- Ability to operate forklifts and safely handle materials up to 100 lbs
- Must work in varied weather and noisy environments
- Strong physical capability for long hours driving and material handling
- Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Certificate
- FMCSA Registration
- Compliance with pre-employment screenings including FMCSA Clearinghouse verification
- Effective English communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving within DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Skilled in operating forklifts/Moffetts
- Effective communication in English
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred
- Familiarity with fleet management systems preferred
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Vocational or industry-specific truck driving training preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer service
- Multilingual abilities a plus
Job Duties
- Safely operate Class A/B vehicles within a 200-mile radius following DOT regulations with no overnight travel
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and verify inventory accuracy
- Ensure secure, damage-free deliveries and document deliveries with photos
- Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards and collaborate with customers for material placement
- Support yard operations and uphold OSHA safety standards
- Maintain clean, efficient, and safe work environment
- Train or supervise junior drivers if required
