Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years driving experience on scheduled route
- Must meet district insurability standards
- Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B with clean driving record
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and dismantle systems of oppression
- Live and work in Colorado with a permanent home address
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position with or without accommodations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years driving experience on scheduled route
- Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B with clean driving record
- Knowledge of district safety and transportation procedures
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work with diverse school personnel
- Commitment to equity and supporting all students
Job Duties
- Pulls and loads prepared orders from warehouse and prioritizes load according to delivery schedule
- Delivers items to district departments and schools
- Communicates and coordinates delivery information with site personnel
- Loads and unloads assigned items into district vehicle securing load and following safety procedures
- Obeys traffic laws and adheres to district transportation guidelines
- Verifies contents of load and corrects discrepancies or notifies supervisor
- Presents orders for signature and submits signed orders to supervisor
- Inspects vehicle according to policy and reports any problems
- Communicates route delays and order issues to supervisor using two way radio
- Performs additional duties as requested
