Job Requirements
- Able to stand and walk continuously throughout each shift
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable with frequent face-to-face interactions
- Capable of safely navigating a fast-paced cafe environment
- Ability to multitask and stay positive under pressure
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stopping, overhead reaching and stretching
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Commitment to upholding sanitation and safety standards
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe
- Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe standards
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other cafe areas
- Operates the register including taking customer orders and handling cash
- Follows all safety and security policies
- Performs additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
