Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
- Capability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable interacting face-to-face with customers and crew
- Ability to navigate safely in a fast-paced café environment
- Capacity to multi-task and remain positive under stress
- Frequent bending, standing, walking, stopping, overhead reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late nights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for register operations
- Commitment to uphold cleanliness and food safety standards
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the café
- Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies according to Tropical Smoothie Café's standards
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other areas in the café
- Follows operating procedures for the register including taking orders and handling cash
- Adheres to all safety and security policies
- Performs additional tasks needed to run the café
