Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shifts
- Capability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Effective face-to-face communication with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cafe environment
- Must be able to multitask and maintain a positive demeanor under pressure
- Availability for flexible working hours
- Must comply with all sanitation and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a fast-paced food service or hospitality environment is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours starting from 5:00 AM to midnight
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe
- Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other cafe areas
- Operates the register including taking orders, handling cash, and being responsible for the drawer
- Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand
- Performs additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
