Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for the duration of each shift
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly
- Experience interacting face-to-face with customers and colleagues
- Capability to navigate safely in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and maintain a positive demeanor under pressure
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stopping, overhead reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to comply with sanitation and safety standards
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late evenings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Basic cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe
- Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s standards
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other cafe areas
- Operates the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash, and managing the cash drawer
- Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand
- Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
